Battle Lord

 


The tab on this model says Battle Lord, 1985.  He's listed on Stuff of Legends as 'Gustavus'. He started out all blue, but I was encouraged to do the helmet metallic, and I felt a bit of heraldry in a non-garish colour might be nice. I'm quite pleased with the result as I thought the sculpt looked quite goofy.

    I like the real-leather effects and the stripe of the man's insignia that's repeated. The golden helmet looks like he might need to be careful to stop it being stolen.

      Thank you, I'm happy how he turned out. The golden helmet will make him more valuable for ransom!
